Can a student enter more than one film?
Yes, students can enter a film as an individual or a group. Students can submit up to 3 films per year.
Is there a fee for Youth Making Ripples entries?
No, there is not a fee required to enter a film in the Youth Making Ripples festival
Can a teacher submit a film from a former student?
Yes, As long as the film was made while the author was < 18 years of age and a K-12 grade student. The teacher can submit the film on the students/schools behalf, with all the appropriate paperwork. For example, if a senior made a film in the spring semester, the teacher/student can submit the film in the following fall semester for the next years competition. If the student is out of contact then the teacher can submit the film on behalf of the school/program.
Can films be submitted if they were made in the spring semester?
Yes, If students make films during the spring semester the teacher and or student may send the film in for the next Youth Making Ripples festival with all the appropriate paperwork. We will store the materials in our data base until the next competition.
